I have been drawing ever since my mother drew a quick sketch of a horse for me when I was five. In high school, I ventured into drawing the human form, and eventually aimed my eye at penciling comics until life took an unexpected twist in the form of my son. Melissa Findley thought she wanted to be an Egyptologist, a hot air balloon inflator, a carpet installer, a theater director, an actress, and an elitist writer of literary stories.
