I have been drawing ever since my mother drew a quick sketch of a horse for me when I was five. Melissa Findley thought she wanted to be an Egyptologist, a hot air balloon inflator, a carpet installer, a theater director, an actress, and an elitist writer of literary stories. All along, however, she was dabbling in fantasy art, sketching sexy men, churning out graphic design, and sneaking off to read romance novels where no one could see her.
